Bottom Slip Bending Rolls

image of Bottom Slip Bending Rolls

Bottom Slip Bending Rolls can be supplied in sizes ranging from 35mm to 127mm in both hand and power operation. They are available in lengths up to 2.5 metres.

  • The bottom roll swings out for easy removal.
  • Carbon steel rolls give high resistance to deflection.
  • Top and back rolls grooved for wired edges.
  • Geared drive on 4" and 5" hand machines for easy operation.
  • Longitudinal grooves cut in botto roll on 5" machines to assist in aligning.

Optional Extras: Non Standard Roll Lengths, Non Standard Electrics and Coated Rolls.

Pyramid Bending Rolls

The Pyramid Bending Rolls features driven bottom rolls and a free running top roll with manual vertical adjustment. The pyramid design provides a large bending capacity in relation to the roll diameters, whilst the all steel fabricated construction ensures long term rigidity, accurate forming and trouble free operation.

  • Pyrmid formation enbles production of infinite diameter cylinders.
  • Drop end frame with counterbalanced top roll to enable removal of cylinders.
  • Carbon steel rolls give high resistance to deflection.
  • Longitudinal grooves in bottom rolls to assist in alignment and grip.
  • Top roll height scales for accurate setting.

Optional Extras: Hardened or Coated Rolls, Cone Rolling Attachment, Variable Speed Drive and Alternative Specifications.

Top Slip Bending Rolls

Top Slip Bending Rolls can be supplied in sizes ranging from 35mm to 127mm in both hand and power operation. They are available in lengths up to 2.5 metres.

  • Top Slip formation enables production of infinate diameter cylinders.
  • Counterbalanced top roll swings out for easy removal of closed cylinders.
  • Carbon steel rolls give high resistance to deflection.
  • Workpiece clamped and released by single movement of clamping lever.
  • Back roll adjusted from front of machine with numerical indicators of position for accurate setting (optional on TSR/2 and TSR/3 models).
  • Top and bottom rolls driven.
  • Geared drive on TSR/4 and TSR/5 models (optional on TSR/2 and TSR/3 models).
  • Bottom and back rolls grooved for wired edges.
  • Longitudinal grooves on TSR/5 to assist alignment and grip.
  • Back roll can be tilted to enable production of cones (when fitted with attachment).

Optional Extras: Parallel Motion to Back Roll, Drive to Back Roll, Cone Rolling Attachment, Hardened or Coated Rolls and Alternative Specifications.

Tube Forming Bending Rolls

These machines have small diameter rolls suitable for rolling thin guages and soft material. Roll diameters fro 12mm to 35mm are available and roll lengths can be varied to suit any application. The material is formed around the top roll which is held in tension at one end. Upon removal of link arm the roll lifts upwards enabling the formed tube to be removed.

Optional Extras: Hardened or Coated Rolls.

Roll Forming Machines - Art 285 mot / 286 mot

These Roll Forming Machines feature three asymmetrically arranged rolls, driven by electric motor. The lower roll can be adjusted by means of a cam lever, the rear roll is adjusted by a handwheel for the execution of cylindrical and conical bendings; at their ends, both rolls are provoded with grooves, having different widths and dephts, in order to bend beaded sheets or iron rods. The upper roll, which can be disengaged, is provided with a longitudinal groove for bending the edges of sheets to be jointed. The rollers run on self-lubricating bushings. Control is effected by foot-pedal for operating the electromagnetic switches of the electric equipment having low-voltage circuits. The minimum diameter obtainable at maximum sheet thickness corresponds to two or three times the diameter of the upper roll. The machines are provided with accident-prevention stop device.

Extra Accessories: Hardened and ground shafts - cones unit - back cylinder motor-driven traverse - back cylinder traverse display - speed variator.

This Roll Forming Machine features 3 hand-operated rolls. Upper roll can be disengaged; it is provided with a longitudinal groove for bending of the ends that are to be jointed. Also conical forming is possible. lower and rear roll are provided with grooves for rolling beaded pieces or iron rods. It can be adjusted to make tubes of different diameters. The minimum diameter obtainable at maximum sheet thickness corresponds to two or three times the diameter of the upper roll.

On request the machine can be supplied without base.
