An eccentric press uses rotational movement and converts it into linear force. Often utilised in a continuous process, the machine can single stroke and reduce manual labour of a fly press.
Other ancillary products available are - Eccentric Presses - Type EXP / PDE and Press Tool Quick Changover System.

Type EXP / C-Frame Presses / 250 - 1.600kN
The 'Open Front Eccentric Press' is designed as a C-Frame, with the shaft arranged fro front to back. The press body and ram is made of gray cast iron, specials are in welded steel. Hydraulic multidisc clutch with spring-loaded brake. All machines are equipped with an automatic, electronically controlled central grease lubrication and an overload protection by shear plate. PLC-Control S7 (realisation according to automation level), with two-hand engagement.
The machines can feature a Flywheel (S) drive or Geared (R) drive. Besides the press force a high forming energy is needed, in these cases a geared driven press should be chosen.
Optional:
Type PDE / Open Back / C-Frame Presses / 300 - 1.250kN
The 'Type PDE Open Back Eccentric Press' is a machine with a frame body. In combination with the straight sided crank shaft, the center position of the connecting rod and the possibility for a 6 point gibbing, the machine gains a lot of advantages of a double column press. By using additional tie rods even under the nominal load the deformation of the press body can be reduced or compensated.
All machines come standard out with a SPC-S7 (Siemens) and the 2-hand safety device which is necessary for manual work.
Up to 1.600kN the machines have a gray cast iron body.
The ram is poured of gray cast iron. This feature helps to give the ram its outstanding quality of attenuation. Machines from 300kN up to 1.250kN the ram is adjusted by ratchets. From 500kN the ram adjustment can be done by a hydraulic motor as an optional extra. The adjustment is done by a hydraulic motor with an accuracy of 1/100 mm - an encoder supervises the exact position. The hydraulic of the ball spindle clamping (only in connection with motorized ram adjustment) is operating automatically.
Up to 1.250kN all machines feature a 4-point swallowtail guideway. Optional a 6-point guideway or a 6-point roller guides are possible.
Depending on the size and necessary forming energy, the machines are designed with Direct Flywheel (S) drive or Back Geared Drive (R). From the 1.250kN model all machines run with a helical-toothed gear, which runs in an oil bath. All machines in this series are equipped with a hydraulic clutch (HK). The hydraulic clutch allows a high stroke rate of the drive train with minimal wear and reduced maintenance. For a smooth engaging all machines can be equipped with a hydraulic damping system as an option. As a further option the machines can be equipped with a frequency converter, fast running machines come with the frequency converter.
All machines are equipped with a stroke adjustment as standard in which an eccentric bush is turned on the crank shaft. A mechanical clutch connects the crank shaft with the bush in positive-fit. It is lifted pneumatically for the stroke adjustment. On demand the machines also can be delivered with fixed stroke. The crankshaft is made from forged alloy steel. Forged steel results in highest toughness and fatigue resistance.
In series all machines are equipped with grease lubrication. High speed running machines and machines with roller guides are equipped with an oil circulation lubricating system. The separate lubrication points are supplied by electronically supervised piston distributors (flow supervision). On demand the main bearings and the connecting rod can be equipped with temperature supervision. For this temperature in the bearings can be supervised at any time this by feeler gauges.
