Design and Operating Features

  • Downstroking bending beam
  • Rigidly welded, monoblock steel frame for minimum deflection under load.
  • Ram travel fully supported in low friction fibre slideways, which are easily adjustable.
  • Hydro-mechanical system assuring accurate parallelism and repeatability.
  • Solid torsion bar linkage for ram levelling.
  • Ram stroke control by precision mechanical depth-stops, built into each cylinder and electrically controlled by push-buttons with digital position display.
  • Independent position control of left cylinder stop for fine angle adjustment.
  • Pressure switch and gauge for simple control of bending tonnage and for prevention of overbending due to bottoming.
  • Hydraulic overload protection.
  • Pre-set, 2-speed bending cycle giving fast approach, slow bending and fast return.
  • 3-function footswitch : normal bending, beam pause at any stroke point, automatic beam return upon release of footswitch.
  • Compact, low-maintenance, hydraulic unit located at the top rear of the machine.
